What is a good homemade microdermabrasion for the face? I have started to get sun spots?

and my skin is really dull. I can’t afford to see a Dr. and I know there are things you can do at home to get rid of these terrible looking things. I have tried all the over the counter things, so I am more interested in homemade things. Thanks so much!!!
You can get the crystals online, is there something I can get to apply the crystals, or should I just use a wash cloth? Thank you for your answer and I will check out the ponds.
